“Ursuline Nuns in Gorizia from the Time of the Plague to Napoleon”: this is the title of the first Advent walk within the program proposed by Confcommercio Gorizia, leader of La Via del BorGO, as part of the PNRR Call for Villages for Christmas. The appointment is for Sunday, December 1, at 4 p.m., meeting at the Bottega del Cappello at 52 Rastello Street. The arrival will always be at the store, where participants will be offered hot tea and the classic Advent candle will be lit. “The walk develops the theme of Ursulines and the seventeenth century in Gorizia; Ursuline Nuns in Gorizia from the time of the plague to Napoleon will go through places among the best known in the city unveiling a little piece of their history: starting from Rastello Street, we will walk through Via delle Monache and Piazza Vittoria,” says Vanni Feresin, who will guide participants through history, anecdotes and curiosities.
