Gorizian John Maria Marusig, a 17th-century historian, writer, poet and illustrator, draws a comet star in the sky over Gorizia. Symbol of benevolent and malevolent omens. In this case, not particularly lucky–the star in fact appeared in the Gorizian skies in 1682, the year of the Plague in the city.
